It was about 80 degrees that day with a nice cool breeze. The great thing about hiking out there was that you have plenty of water. This water comes down from the mountains when the ice melts so it is natural spring water and tastes great. Up the stream is a waterfall which unfortunately I did not get a picture of because the camera died.
The Picture to the right was taken from a different angle. I believe this picture had a better exposure. The angle of the light makes the green really pop in this image. The other image was a good closeup of the water. In this image the water looks a bit rust colored but, it is just the way the rocks on the bottom reflect of the water. I walked up the stream a little further and found out I was walking in the wrong direction to see the water fall. Still got some good pictures though and some exercise.
This is a picture of the path leading down to Angel Falls. I took this picture and cut it in half then flipped on half. That made it look like a path leading to two other paths. I thought it was cool looking but Shutter Stock did not like it. That does not surprise me in the least. This was the easy part of the path. I parked above the actual path and had to walk down a very steep hill which people where apparently driving down. That would have been nice to know. Getting back up the hill was enough exercise for just about anyone. Can't wait to go back in the fall and get some good leaf shots.
