Well I know we are still at Angel Stream. I really did enjoy the peaceful sound of the water running. This picture was taken from the trail showing nice foliage and the running water below. You can see that even the larger stones have been eroded from years of water running over them. Like I previously stated in the last post, the water level is low. I believe it is because of the time of the year. In the spring time the ice melts from the mountains and increases the water level greatly.
Here is another picture of this gorgeous stream in the middle of nowhere. I really mean it when I say "the middle of nowhere." About 10 miles past Cooz Canyon there is a dirt road that you turn down and then you have to go another 10 miles or so. The road was bumpy to say the least. Also there are 4 wheeler's everywhere that you have to look out for. But the trip is well worth it as you can see. Anytime you can get great pictures like this the trip was a success.
OK last image for this post. his is a picture of a trail no doubt. The markings on the trees looked like we had to follow this trail. Apparently the falls were in the other direction opps! Still a beautiful trail. You can see the branches in the middle of the trail. They are white birch and one piece was just the right size for a walking stick. Big time score and cleaned up the forest a little. The only bad thing was that down the road they are starting to build more houses. There are tons of logging trucks also and a lot of clear cut land which makes me sad :(
I wish they would stop cutting down our trees since they help us breath and all. Not only did they clear cut areas of this beautiful forest they left all the little pieces behind. So it looks like crap and that makes me a little angry. If you have not already you might want to get out there and enjoy these beautiful landscapes before they disappear.
